Lunar Garage - Terms & Policies

Welcome to Lunar Garage. These Terms & Policies are designed to ensure clear communication, transparency, and fairness for all customers. By scheduling services with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Estimates & Approvals
All customers will receive a written estimate before repairs begin.
Estimates include projected labor hours (determined using ALLDATA or similar software), parts costs, and any additional fees.
Approval is required before any work is started.
Estimates provided are based on the information available at the time, and final charges may vary based on the condition of the vehicle upon further inspection.
Additional repairs beyond the initial estimate will be communicated and approved prior to proceeding.
Approval for an estimate will be obtained through any of the following means: payment of deposit, physical signature, electronic approval including; SMS, Email, verifiable link to an estimate with electronic signature.
2. Deposits
A deposit is typically required to cover the cost of parts and secure your appointment.
Deposit amounts will be outlined in your estimate. Failure to provide a deposit may delay service scheduling.
Repairs will not begin until the deposit is paid in full.
The deposit is refundable up until work has commenced on your vehicle. However, a full refund is not guaranteed if Lunar Garage has already acquired non-returnable parts, initiated repairs, or arranged for towing services. In such cases, Lunar Garage may offer a partial refund at its discretion, depending on the circumstances. If repairs have already begun or any non-returnable parts have been ordered, the deposit may be withheld in full to cover associated costs.
3. Labor Rates & Pricing
Hourly rates vary depending on the type of service:
Maintenance Services: $75/hour
Mechanical Repairs: $100/hour
Mobile & Tow Services: $150/hour
After-Hours Services (6 PM – 7 AM CST): +$75/hour surcharge
Labor times are determined using ALLDATA to ensure fairness and industry-standard accuracy.

Any discounts or promotional offers provided by Lunar Garage apply only to the total repair costs and are not applicable to the initial deposit. The deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be based on the estimate provided, regardless of any discounts or promotions.
4. Parts Policies
Lunar Garage uses high-quality parts sourced from trusted suppliers.
Customer-supplied parts are generally discouraged. If accepted:
No warranty will be provided on customer-supplied parts.
Additional fees may apply if incorrect parts delay repairs or occupy work areas.
If customer-supplied parts cause delays, a storage fee may be assessed for vehicles occupying repair bays.
In the event that parts need to be returned, restocking fees may apply depending on the supplier’s policy. Lunar Garage will inform customers of any such fees before proceeding with the return. Please be aware that non-returnable parts, once ordered, will be charged to the customer and are non-refundable.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made.
Lunar Garage utilizes Square invoicing software for any non-cash payments. Customers utilizing Square for their transactions are subject to their own Terms of Use.
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH bank transfer, Square Gift Card, Cash App Pay, and Afterpay.
Late payments may incur additional fees.
Lunar Garage does not offer any payment plans or finances. Any unique payment terms will be clearly outlined in the estimate prior to approval.
6. Warranty & Repairs
Parts and labor provided by Lunar Garage may carry a limited warranty. Details will be provided at the time of service.
Customer-supplied parts void any associated warranty.
The warranty for parts and labor provided by Lunar Garage may vary depending on the part and supplier. Specific warranty details will be outlined during the estimate process prior to approval.
If a part installed by Lunar Garage is believed to have failed, the customer must bring the vehicle in for an inspection. A diagnostic fee may be charged if the part is not covered under warranty or if it is an issue unrelated to part originally replaced by Lunar Garage. If the part is confirmed to have failed, Lunar Garage will replace the part at no cost to the customer.
Lunar Garage is not liable for any damages caused to other parts by a failed part under warranty. If the failed part causes additional damage, or if the customer chooses to proceed with further repairs during the warranty part replacement (including repairing damaged parts or additional issues not covered by the warranty), those repairs will be the customer's responsibility. An estimate for these additional repairs will be provided at that time. Lunar Garage is not responsible for other costs incurred due to part failure including but not limited to towing, lost wages, accidental damages to person or property, etc.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs without adequate notice.
The appointment can be rescheduled and the deposit will be held for the new appointment time for 14 days after which the deposit is non-transferrable.
8. Vehicle Pick-Up, Drop-Off & Towing
Customers are encouraged to drop off vehicles for service.
Customers are required to sign the notice of liability and damages agreement prior to having their vehicle towed.
Customers are required to pay additional costs with the deposit prior to having their vehicle towed.
Vehicles will only be dropped off at “Lunar Garage” for repairs. Once repaired the vehicle may be delivered back to the customer for additional cost. “Lunar Garage” is not responsible for arranging towing services if a repair is not completed.
In certain cases, pick-up services may be arranged. Additional charges may apply.
Mobile services and towing are available but subject to availability and additional costs at the discretion of “Lunar Garage.”
Towing limits are made at the discretion of Lunar Garage this includes but is not limited to distance, vehicle condition, weather, etc.
9. Mobile repairs
Lunar Garage will not travel to a customer’s location for mobile work until payment is received in full for the scheduled service. A deposit is required to confirm the appointment and cover initial costs.
A minimum deposit of $150 is required for mobile services, or $225 if the service is requested after hours. This deposit will secure your appointment and cover the cost of travel, tools, and initial inspection.
The distance for mobile work is at the discretion of Lunar Garage and may vary depending on location, availability, and the nature of the service. If your location exceeds the area Lunar Garage is willing to travel, we will inform you beforehand.
Please allow sufficient time for Lunar Garage staff to travel to your location, gather the necessary tools, and account for factors such as traffic. The time to reach your location will be considered when determining the service schedule.
The mobile service deposit is not fully refundable, as time and costs begin to accrue immediately after the deposit is made, particularly in after-hours situations. Lunar Garage will review the circumstances and may offer a partial refund at our discretion, based on the time and resources already expended.
If the vehicle is in an unsafe or hazardous situation, Lunar Garage reserves the right to refuse service for the safety of our staff. If this occurs, a partial refund may be issued to account for the time and costs incurred in arriving at the location.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in a condition suitable for the requested service. If additional time or labor is required due to the vehicle's condition (e.g., flat tires, inaccessible engine), additional fees may apply. Lunar Garage will inform the customer of any issues that may arise prior to proceeding.
Not all services provided by Lunar Garage are available for mobile work. Certain repairs may require the vehicle to be brought to the shop for optimal service and equipment availability. Please inquire if you're unsure whether your required service can be performed on-site.
The customer or an authorized representative must be present at the time of service to allow access to the vehicle. If the customer or representative is not available to provide access, Lunar Garage reserves the right to refuse service and will not refund the deposit. Additionally, any additional time required to reschedule or access the vehicle may incur additional charges.
In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment or if the customer is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time, a cancellation fee may apply to cover travel costs incurred. The deposit may be non-refundable in these cases.
Lunar Garage is not responsible for theft or damage to personal belongings inside the vehicle during mobile service. Please remove all valuables before service. Additionally, Lunar Garage is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to the vehicle itself, except as may be required by law. If theft occurs, Lunar Garage will cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation but will not be held liable for the loss of the vehicle.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from services provided by Lunar Garage, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action. If mediation does not resolve the issue, arbitration may be used to settle the dispute. If necessary, legal proceedings may be initiated in accordance with the laws of Oklahoma.
11. Force Majeure (Act of God)
Lunar Garage shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform services if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, labor disputes, pandemics, or severe weather conditions.
12. Right to Refuse Service
Lunar Garage reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where the customer is disruptive, abusive, or unwilling to comply with safety protocols or terms outlined in this agreement.
13. Liability Disclaimer
Lunar Garage is not responsible for personal belongings left inside vehicles. Please remove valuables before drop-off. Lunar Garage is not responsible for any theft of personal belongings left inside the vehicle. Customers are strongly advised to remove all valuables prior to dropping off their vehicle.
Vehicles left beyond 10 days after service completion or no communication may incur storage fees.
While Lunar Garage takes great care in handling all vehicles, there is always a small risk of incidental damage during repair or maintenance services. If any damage occurs to your vehicle during service, Lunar Garage will take responsibility for repairs related to that damage. However, Lunar Garage is not liable for any pre-existing conditions that are uncovered during service or for damage resulting from parts failure, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances.
If any damage occurs to your vehicle during the repair process, the customer will be notified immediately, and Lunar Garage will work with the customer to address the issue at no additional cost. Any damage caused by customer-supplied parts is not covered under this policy, and the customer will be responsible for any repair costs.
Lunar Garage is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to items inside the vehicle, nor is it responsible for any items lost or damaged while the vehicle is in our care, except as may be required by law.
Lunar Garage is not responsible for the theft or loss of the vehicle itself while it is on our premises. While we take appropriate precautions to ensure the security of all vehicles in our care, the customer assumes the risk of theft or loss. If theft occurs, Lunar Garage will cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation but will not be held liable for the loss of the vehicle.
14. Privacy Policy
Customer information is collected solely for service-related purposes and will not be sold or shared without consent, except as required by law.
